The Beauty Of Wintry Weather

The sun blasted through the azure sky.

The sun blasted through the azure sky.

It bounced over the rocks and glistened upon the water.

It bounced over the rocks and glistened upon the water.

It danced across the snow and flitted through the woods.

It danced across the snow and flitted through the woods.

…And all the world reflected in the glow and basked in her purplish haze.

  1. WOW….stunning photos, Suzi!

You REALLY capture the beautiful essence of winter!

And thank you for sharing because you know how much I adore this season!

P.S. hey, it snowed a little bit last night and I hear we’re getting more this week. Yipeee!

    • Woo hoo for snow! I like it until it keeps me from getting where I want to be. Usually I like it for a few hours and then I’m over it. We were in the mountains and we still able to travel the roads so I liked it!

    • Yes, it is often bleak in winter. I was a bit aggravated with myself and using manual settings because most of my pics turned out bluish purple/gray, but then I remembered it actually looked that way, lol!

  2. I was thinking this very same thing. I need to take some pictures of the beauty surrounding me now. The sky has those wintry qualities as well as the snow covered hills and cows. Just gorgeous, from my warm pickup with the heated seats and dual climate controls—(the boys always think I keep it too warm…NOT) lol

  3. I love all the shades of blue Suzicate. If I tried to take a photo outside now they would look like action shots–my shivers would not translate into good pictures.
