Hey, A Bug’s Gotta’ Eat, Too!

“Nature will bear the closest inspection. She invites us to lay our eye level with her smallest leaf, and take an insect view of its plain.”  ~Henry David Thoreau

A Magnolia blossom looks entirely different to a feasting insect than it does to an admiring passerby.

From a distance a mountain appears enormous. Once you begin the climb, you only see trees, rocks, ground, and sky…the mountain is gone.

One step at a time, you push on. Eventually, you get where you’re going.

Once you get there and look back it never looks the same.

Don’t be afraid to attempt great things.

Don’t be afraid to be the bug on the blossom.

Life is a sweet reward.

  1. It kind of makes me sad to see this bug destroying such a beautiful blossom. I know he’s got to eat, but why can’t he eat something ugly (broccoli, for instance?!)
