When we drop all pretension
and stand as we are,
we light up the world!
Living in the Gap
March 18, 2012 – Just as we are…
I first see her when I am at the railroad track taking pictures. She is walking up the tracks with her walnut skin and amethyst shirt shining in the sunlight. I chase the shadows in the sunlight and get a few shots. I move on to another location and take some more photos and then move on to my last photo stop. I shield the light with one hand and aim and shoot my camera with my other hand. Brighter than the sunlight, bolder than the flowers, she floats into view again. Taking different routes and different means of transportation, we arrive at the same final destination.
She’s a beaut! 😀
Stuck that out of my car window into the sunlight and got a blind shot of it.
You’re kidding! That’s amazing. It’s amazing you even spotted it from the car.
I didn’t spot it from the car…my friends hubby had broken if off in the garden and gave it to me. I just held it out the car window and took a pic!
This post lit up my evening. The way the sun shines behind that purple flower is gorgeous.
Glad you like it…love purple and hyacinth so I thought it was a good combo.
GOOD MORNING!
WOW!
That’s all I can say.
WOW and GOOD MORNING to you!
Suzi, I can’t tell you enough how MUCH I LOVE that photo!
OMG….it’s beyond STUNNING!
Love the way you caught the light shinning down. BRILLIANT capture!

Lovely Living in the Gap!
Happy Sunday, my friend…….X
So glad you like it, Ron. On a whim I held it in the light from my car window and snapped the shot with my other hand!
That photo is exquisite and the words are too! Just beautiful Suzicate!
So glad you like it, Linda.
Love the picture and love the living in the gap and love you too1 🙂
Love you, too! Am missing you guys today while I’ve got country cooking in process in the kitchen!
Beautiful flower, beautifully photographed!
Thank you, Debbie.
Just lovely!
Thanks, Patti!
Just beautiful! (PS. Why did WordPress.com change so that we have to sign in to comment?)
Thanks. I have no idea; maybe it has a stickup its butt? Seriously, one of my blogspot friends couldn’t comment using his real email and had to use a fake one to leave a comment, so frustrating!
Lovely! 😀
So happy you like!
Love the transparency of the flower as the light hits it. Very cool.
The sunlight does some interesting things.
