Where The Wild Things Grow!

“If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly our whole life would change.”…Buddha

For every season, beauty abounds on my parents property.

Various colors climb vines, shoot through petals, and brighten berries.

Intricate beauty blossoms as life unfolds.

Even when life grows wild and free, love and beauty can still be found poking through the tangles.

Even wild things nurture what they can and spread sunshine.

And even the showiest of them all have more purpose than the beauty that meets the eye.

I am remimded whether wild or tame, life is delicate and finite while love is strong and knows no bounds.

Like flowers we should strive to grow tall and strong, reach for the sun, and drop our seeds to replenish the earth.

Like the many blooms of these wild things, we each have many gifts to share with the world.

We have little time but unlimited ways to make a difference.

May we each leave behind a touch of grace.

“Growth is the only evidence of life.”…John Henry Cardinal Newman 1864

I LOVE how you weaved your inspiring narrative between each of these stunning photos!

Especially enjoyed the second photo down.

  2. Some beautiful flowers Suzicate! I am so glad that you visited me today, so that I could enjoy walking through the garden with you this evening. What was the forth flower from the bottom; a white one? So pretty.

and of course your words have not lost their magic in my absence. :)

  3. What pattisj said is true. We have so much to learn. And I love that you are my teacher. Always pointing out correlations and things I don’t think of or different ways to think of them.
