The sun blasted through the azure sky.

It bounced over the rocks and glistened upon the water.

It danced across the snow and flitted through the woods.

…And all the world reflected in the glow and basked in her purplish haze.

WOW….stunning photos, Suzi!
You REALLY capture the beautiful essence of winter!
And thank you for sharing because you know how much I adore this season!
X
P.S. hey, it snowed a little bit last night and I hear we’re getting more this week. Yipeee!
Woo hoo for snow! I like it until it keeps me from getting where I want to be. Usually I like it for a few hours and then I’m over it. We were in the mountains and we still able to travel the roads so I liked it!
Love the photos–you’ve got a gift!
Thanks, but I think it’s more the scenery than my photography skills!
Unbelievable! So gorgeous!
Glad you like!
A sunny, winter day is beautiful! Too bad so many winter days are bleak and gray. You captured some lovely scenes.
Yes, it is often bleak in winter. I was a bit aggravated with myself and using manual settings because most of my pics turned out bluish purple/gray, but then I remembered it actually looked that way, lol!
Lovely shots, Suzi. Especially #3.
It was a beautiful weekend in the mountains.
Suzie, these are stunning! The blue color is so vivid. They look magically surreal. Makes winter almost bearable….almost.
I was surprised at the brilliance of the blue sky.
These photos are amazing, but they did give me the chills!
Sorry I made you feel cold…it was a bit nippy!
Lovely photos!
Thank you, Heather.
Love a blue sky in winter. Looks cold, though!
Me, too. And it was cold!
I was thinking this very same thing. I need to take some pictures of the beauty surrounding me now. The sky has those wintry qualities as well as the snow covered hills and cows. Just gorgeous, from my warm pickup with the heated seats and dual climate controls—(the boys always think I keep it too warm…NOT) lol
Yes, go take some photos!
LOVE bun warmers, so glad I have them!
Being in Miami most of my life I do appreciate a good dose of this.
It would be hard for me to get used to all warm and hot weather.
I love all the shades of blue Suzicate. If I tried to take a photo outside now they would look like action shots–my shivers would not translate into good pictures.
I know that feeling…I was bundled up. I did take my gloves off a couple of times to adjust settings on my camera.
Your photography is spectacular!
Thank you, Stacie.
These are stunning. I love the glimmer of light between the trees and the way it makes shadows on the snow. Girl, you can definitely take pictures. xoxo
Beautiful pictures! I love the way you captured winter here.
Your photographs are very nice
and i like your blog too. I will try
and get back here again soon
Thank you.
Breathtakingly beautiful!
Thanks, Merle!
