The world rejoices in your presence.
It warms at the very sight of you.
It cries when you are sad, and smiles when you are pleased.
It bathes in your tears, and basks in your laughter.
It delights in your every movement.
It wants nothing more than for you to succeed.
The world is here for you.
You are never alone. You are loved.
The world is wrapping its arms around you in a hug.
Love is in the air. Breathe it in. Feel it in your bones
And love everything you touch in return.

Living in the Gap
February 18, 2012 – Independence display of sorts
The sun burst through the fog like a bottle rocket in the night sky…the world lit with life. A drizzle of smoke from a nearby chimney trailed through the air. Birds began to chatter like excited children. Light bounced across fluttering squirrel tails like sparklers through the trees. The bells of the chimes dinged the sound of freedom in the early morn.

I love smelling the “drizzle” of smoke on a foggy day . . . and also having the sun burst upon the scene.

My dog would smell like she’d been around a campfire when she’d come back inside.

P.S. loved your Living in the Gap too. ” A drizzle of smoke from a nearby chimney trailed through the air.” I could actually smell that!
Have a Saturday, my friend!

I have to share “Living in the Gap” with my husband who participated in the “Stand in the Gap” million men gathering back in October, ’97.

That is awesome. We have a few friends who’ve been involved in that.

Your mastery of words is awesome. They not only ‘look’ pretty, they “sound” pretty and they “feel” pretty! Amazing, Suzicate!

“You are never alone. You are loved.” How often do we forget this when we are in the middle of something that causes sadness and angst? Important reminder.

We easily forget, don’t we?
