The House Of Sacredness

We are each a house of sacredness.

Our lights shine, and the Light shines on us.

Holiness resides within each of us.

We are loved, and we love in return.

We are blessed, and we bless those we touch.

When the wind blows through the trees, we are not shaken.

We fear not, for we have courage.

We know the Light also shines through the very same trees.

We trust beyond ourselves.

We have faith our needs will be met.

We know the Light will lead us through the darkness.

We know the path of life will be lit for us.

We know the Light will guide us home.

Let your light shine and follow where it takes you.

Shine on.

Living in the Gap

January 27, 2012 – Tricky Weather.

The hyacinth and daffodil stems face the sun and grin as they begin to peek through the ground. Soon they will cower in the wind, afraid Jack Frost will take them down.

  1. This is where faith comes in. :-) . That we do in fact that we have all this and that we share it.

Lovely words to match a lovely picture.

    • That’s exactly where faith comes in!

  2. The photograph is so nice. I love the long exposure he used. Shining and being shined on is a great gift from above. Beautiful post.

    • Dirt Man did a great job with this pic! Expect lots of more great stuff when we take over the other blog together! He bought a new post processing program…

  3. You and Dirt Man are a great creative team. Encourage others to let their light shine is a great message for the weekend. Thanks Suzicate.

  4. Shine on . . . you crazy diamond! ;)

    • Ok, I admit I am a wee bit crazy, but still I shall try my best to shine on!

  5. Beautiful message, Suzi!

I so enjoy your inspiring analogies….

“We are each a house of sacredness.

Our lights shine, and the Light shines on us.”

    Love that!

Thank you for sharing YOUR light!

Have a beautiful weekend, my friend!

P.S. please tell Dirt Man….AWESOME photo!

    • Thanks, Ron. He does a great job with the photography and the photos really “speak” to me!

  6. Gorgeous photo. Lovely words! I’m bowled over!

    • He’d been thinking of taking a pic of that church at night for a long time. It is located several hours from us and it just happened to be dark the last time we were in that area…perfection!

  7. Yes, and we need to respect the sacred in one another! For if we truly believe that “Holiness resides in each of us,” we’ll treat everyone carefully, kindly, and decently.

    • Excellent advice, Debbie.

  8. Dirt man did an exquisite job on that shot! Your analogy accompanies it perfectly, SuziCate. Blessed sacredness – that we can take for granted too easily.

    • He really did. It is so easy to take things for granted…we need to poke ourselves sometimes.

  9. oh yes, we are each a house of sacredness. let us endeavour, then, to treat our self and all those around us as sacred. thank you for this beautiful sharing of your heart.

    • Yes we are, and you’re welcome.

  10. Suzie, this and the previous post are so wonderful. I find when I read your words, I immediately feel better. Many times you have fed my soul.

    • Thank you…such a lovely thing for you to say.

  11. Thanks for the wonderful words of inspiration.

WordPress weekly photo challenge is “Hope” … you should take a picture of those daffodil stems.

    • What a great idea…yesterday I was somewhere that the daffodils were in full bloom!

  12. Sometimes the light disguises itself and we have to actively listen to whispers to seek it out. That’s where the true journey begins.
